6. Waking up Late Because You Were Working Late Night
You were lazing around a week before and now when thanksgiving is just a day ahead you are working late night to make sure all the preparations are done. Then you wake up lazing late next morning and feel like you’ve been run over by a steamroller.
7. Your Turkey Is Not given Enough Time for Marination
Marination helps your seasoning penetrate deeper and you enjoy the flavors deep down the meat. I would prefer to marinate the turkey a night before to give a punch of flavor to your guests! But again having so many things going on, you completely forgot to marinate your turkey and will have to put it in the oven right away after you season it.
8. Veggies Taking a Lot of Time
Thinking if only you had been a master chef who can cut and chop veggies in seconds? Well come back to reality and peel, trim, cut or chop your veggies a day before and store them in a plastic bag. This will save you a huge amount of time.
9. Oven Is Not Working Properly
The oven is your most important asset for thanksgiving dinner. Make sure its working properly and cooking on right temperature. You can satisfy yourself by simply roasting a chicken or two some days ahead. Don’t try what she’s doing down there, you might end up cooking yourself.
10. Your Water Pipe Burst out
Fighting with a tsunami wave in your kitchen or bathroom is no less then a life threat and especially when you have guests to serve to. Such things are quite possible so better to check pipes and bathrooms before the big day.
